New to Jayco

My wife & I just purchased a 2016 Alante 26Y, we have owned 2 motor homes prior to this one, both larger and wanted to downsize a bit. We are both retired and enjoy traveling about 2-3 months a year with a bunch of short local weekenders.

Welcome to JOF.

Sure are interested in your experiences. We will likely be downsizing someday and be camping as long as health allows.

Thanks Guy's, I have already been in contact with Jayco about the solar wiring, it does NOT come pre-wired (kinda figured the sales rep was blowing smoke at me) but the Genset IS hardwired to the autoswitch so I will only need to add a shore power plug for whole house AC from the inverter. The rep is supposed to be getting with the plant line supervisor on the best route to run the solar cable from the roof to the house battery compartment.

We pick it up on 1/4, getting things ready to drive the Toad down.
