We purchased a 2010 23J hybrid about 1 month ago. Prior to the Jayco, we were camping in a small pop up. The storage in the 23J is amazing compared to the pop up. We are still trying to utilize it fully. We have camped a couple of weeks during June and plan on camping most of the month of July. We love it so far.
During July we will be heading into Ohio to visit family in the Columbus area. To justify our purchase, I told Ginny (my wife) that we would have to camp at least six weeks per year (42 nights) to justify the camper's cost. So far I have enjoyed reading the posts and information found on this site.
Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum DaveNJenny. It's always nice to have that extra storage! Congrats on your new hybrid!

Welcome Davenjinny and congrats on the new hybrid. You will love all the space and not having to raise the roof to get inside. We owned a pop up for 9 years and traveled to 42 states and Canada. We just traded in November for a TT.
There is a nice state park just south of Columbus called Deer Creek State Park, by Mt. Sterling, OH. We stayed there for a couple nights during our travels and it was a nice park with lots to offer. If you are a golfer there is a nice course right in the park. Here is their link

Welcome to the forum dave and congrats on your 23J. We went from a pup to a hybrid years ago (neither were a Jayco) and DW had no problem filling all the newly found storage places with stuff.
