New to Jayco and this forum!

Hey everyone. My name is Scott. My wife and I along with our two boys just purchased a 2015 264bhw from our Jayco dealer in Hartville Ohio a few days ago.

Our last TT was a 2006 Forest River Salem hybrid. We just started running into to many issues with it (water heater was leaking and going bad, refrigerator took forever to get cold, furnace only worked when it felt like it etc) and decided to sell it last fall and purchase a new one. Lots of research brought me to the conclusion I wanted a Jayco and now here we are!

I was first interested in the 26BH but after the dealer showed us this 264bhw before the 26BH, I couldn't say no to the savings between the two. This was a few thousand less. The difference in the monthly payment will nearly pay for a night of camp fees each month. For $200 I will install the power tongue jack and an outside shower and be good to go.

Also upgraded to a Husky trunnion WDH and sway control this time around. Looks so much easier to set than my old round bar style with chains.

Sorry for the novel. Looking forward to hanging around here.

Welcome, Scott, and congratulations on your new trailer.

You probably already know this, but the 'search' function may help you find answers that come to mind... of course feel free to hang around, too.

Welcome to the forum Scott and family! I too like your thinking about the extra nights camping from the proceeds of the money saved.
Happy camping!
