Five more days now, right? I'm excited for you! Any new plans for a maiden voyage yet?

Our first camping trip is booked for May 20 - 22. That's our first long weekend up here in Canada. We are going to a Provincial Campground about 1 1/2 hours from where we live. We don't want to drive too far for our first trip in case we have any problems.

The way this winter is going I just hope we don't have snow that weekend!

Wow, I hope you don't have snow then! That would suck! But if it is cold, have you read anywhere here where it's recommended to run your heater for a while before you actually camp in it as it smells the first time it's used! Ours actually set the alarm off! *yikes*.

KathyDiane,

My family always heads out the weekend before the long weekend because its alot quieter at the provincial parks. You don't even have to book ahead of time. If you see its going to be cold then no problem.

Enjoy

If the weather is nice that weekend we just might do that! Thanks for mentioning that.
