New to Jayco's
Hello fellow Jayco Owners! Let's see, We live in the desert of SoCal. The wife and I have been married since Dec. of 1996. We have 3 kids, 29, 28 and 21. The oldest 2 are from her first marriage but I've raised them as mine. The oldest 2 are married and on their own. Our 21 year old is in college in NorCal and playing football for a D2 school.
We've been RVing since 2003. Started with a 30' Springdale Lite bunkhouse model. We had that trailer for 2 years and had to upgraded to a 5th wheel toy hauler. We got into quads and dirt bikes. We purchased a 2006 Eclipse RV Attitude 33 AKS in April of 2005. Had to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery, was waiting on the fiberglass siding unit. We used the 5th wheel as much as we could. In 2013 we bought a sand rail and an enclosed trailer for it. We've been taking 2 trucks camping every time we go riding. 1 pulling the 5th wheel and the other pulling the enclosed trailer. We've been looking into Class C MH's for sometime. Really like the diesel Class C's but not the price tags.
Well, this past weekend 7/15/17 we signed the paperwork for our brand new 2018 Jayco Greyhawk Prestige 29 MVP. We take delivery of the unit on Saturday 7/22/17! Cant wait to use this beast of a motor home! No more taking 2 vehicles camping! The gas will probably be the same dollar value but we don't buy these things for MPG's, do we! LOL!
I look forward to learning and reading all about this motor home. I've done a lot of research and I feel that the Jayco brand is the best Class C motor home on the market! Looking forward to see the mods and whatnot everyone else has done.
Talk to you all on the forums!
Brady

I was wondering how you liked your new rig. I am currently looking at purchasing a 31fs or 31fsp so I was wondering how your prestige has done for you. Do you like the big overhead window above cab? I am just curious because it looks like something I would enjoy to have. Maybe give more of a view going down the road for the passengers in the back?
