Smile New to RV camping, new to the forum

We just purchase our first rv in March. I just joined the forum a few days ago to get help as things come up. So far I really see the benefit of being a member.

We have a 2012 White Hawk. We love it. We are on our second camp trip in month. Our kids love the bunks in the camper. We had a few minor issues with the camper during our first trip and our dealer is taking care of all of them.

We look forward to many years in our White Hawk. Thanks for the welcome mat.

Thanks Brownie. We like the Grand Rapids area. We spend a lot of time in Michigan but mostly around So. Haven.

Congratulations on the trailer and welcome to the forum. I too have found it a very useful place to find information. Are you from the southwest part of Michigan? We're from the Holland area.

We are from Illinois. We spend several weekends in S. Haven... formerly in a hotel, now in our new TT. We love S.W. Michigan, the hills, orchards, wineries. A lot more scenic than flat, boring and broke Illinois.

Cool New Member

Just joined the forum today. Have been camping for 30 + years starting with a small Cox pop-up and migrating through 3 Sunlines; the last one a 2006 286SR. Just placed an order for a 2015 Jayco Eagle 318 RETS which we hope to get at the end of June. We saw a 2014 308 RETS on the lot and decided to buy it but the salesman called a few days later and said another couple wanted one right away and would we agree to take a 2015 with more options for the same price (no brainer). We like all the room in the 318 and plan to use it this summer and a trip to Florida in early 2015. Tow vehicle is a 2007 Nissan Armada.

Tried posting a reply (new to this forum thing - not a Facebooker) doesn't look like it went. We live near Chicago and travel to S. Haven several weekends a year. We love the area, the rolling hills, orchards, wineries; it's not flat like northern Illinois. We used to stay in a hotel but now in our new TT. We have a lot of fun around S. Haven.

The South Haven area and the entire Lake Michigan shoreline are just beautiful. In fact, our entire state has some phenomenal camping opportunities! Testament to that is the HUGE number of Michiganders who are Jayco owners and Forum Members. Hope to see you around the campfire.
