New to RV Life!

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and new to rving in general! We just bought a White Hawk 28DSBH, we are very excited to try it out, but now my brother has me concerned about towing it with my vehicle! Can anyone reassure me or let me know if he is right??
We have a 2010 GMC Yukon Denali AWD with a 6.2L Flex Fuel V8 6 speed automatic with the H.D. Trailering Package. Has anyone hauled a 28DSBH with a similar vehicle? According to our vehicle manual it has a max trailer rating of 8100 lbs and a GCVWR of 14000 lbs.
We don't actually have our trailer yet since there is still to much snow on the ground, but we are planning on getting a weight distributing hitch.

Thanks!

If that is the correct trailering capacity for your truck you should be fine since the camper weighs 7,500 lbs max. The only thing that you will really need to watch carefully is that you don't exceed your rear axle weight rating on your truck which will be easier to do than you think. A weight distributing hitch is going to be a must and I would also recommend a trip to the local CAT scale once you have everything dialed in to check your weights. BTW, welcome to the forum!
