New to RVing, Timbren SES or airbags?

Hi all,
My wife and I recently bought a Jayco 1206 pop up, and I'm looking for some advice on outfitting my TV.

I'm going to be pulling it behind a '98 Ford Explorer (4 door, 2wd, V8). I already added a class 3 hitch, and will be installing a 7 pole connector and brake controller this weekend. I don't plan to ever tow anything heavier than my popup, but will have the TV itself fairly loaded down.

My question is what should I do about the rear suspension. I like the set and forget it idea of the Timbren SES setup, but am wondering if air bags are a better option.

Anything I should consider on one vs. the other.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum. I like the air bags because they are adjustable. It just takes a second to air them up or down.

I had Timbrens on my truck. I took them off & replaced them with air bags. Like Clutch said air bags can be adjusted.

Welcome to the forum, ThanksSVT. I have Timbrens on the rear, the truck has to drop about an inch and a half before resting on them, but really helps when carrying big loads and does not affect the ride when empty. I have no experience with airbags but can see where being adjustable would be very helpful.
