New to the forum.

Hi Everyone: Just ordered a 2013 Greyhawk 31DS. We will use it mainly to tow our boat to the various lakes in Montana. Hope to spend a good deal of time at Yellowstone & Fort Peck. Our unit should be delivered in May. It will be our first RV. I have a question. The dealer is offering a maintenance plan called JayPlus. For an extra 5 years of coverage it will cost about $3K. Do many of you have this plan? Is it necessary? What have been your experiences with it? Do you recommend it? Thank you for any response that you may have.

Welcome to the JOF Warumbus! Congrats on the new Greyhawk! We opted to do without the extended warranty. The consensus of other rv owners on different other forums at the time we bought our Jayco seemed to be "don't waste your $$". With the Jayco 2 year warranty, we figured we should be ok. So far so good

We got the extended warranty

We opted to do the extended warranty. We have a great dealer nearby and hope to be worry free in our new Redhawk.
