New to the forum. Own a 2012 28bhs jay flight

We are new to the forum but this is our second jayco trailer. We owned a 10 ud jayco popup for 10 years and finally upgraded to a 28bhs jayco jay flight. Gonna pull it with our jeep commader limited with 5.7 hemi motor. I have pulled my jacked up and decked out jeep wrangler before on a car hauler and towed like a champ. We have been debating for years on upgrading and finally did it!!!!!
We love to camp all over a and see the country. Hope to meet people who have the same interest as we do.

Welcome to the JOF Jeeper! Congrats on your new upgrade! We have the same floorplan Jay Flight (different model number) and found that once you load the front of the tt as well as cabinets in the front bedroom, the tongue weight becomes much heavier than the brochure indicates. We know someone who has the same jeep, and found that a heavier tongue weight became a safety issue for his tt/tv set-up. You may need to pack light in the front storage and be careful when loading the back of your jeep. When you get a chance, try to get to a CAT scale to get the weights needed to determine your tv/tt percentages. Share the info here, and the tow-techy members can let you know if you have a safe tow set-up

Thanks for all the comments. Good news is healthi we are light packers and don't keep anything in the back of the jeep. I learned that when pulling the wrangler!! Makes for a spooky ride if not set up right. We can't wait to get out just waiting for it to stop freezing at night and then we will be out there....
