Question new to the owners forum

have been trying to navigate thru the post and did find the new members group where I thought I would try to get a quick answer to a question. I have a jayco pop up 1207 that has ST175/80D13 tires. I want to replace them as they have some dry rot, so question is can I go to a ST185 on that particular camper. thanks, eric

Welcome to the forum.

Popup owners are here, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. Hopefully, someone with helpful info will be along before too long.

Welcome to the forum. Sometimes the quickest way to get an answer is to use the search function first, it will then direct you to one or multiple threads. In your case I would have suggested a search of ST185 or tires ST185 and it would have directed you to prior threads on the topic. When I ran the search just now I found 5 specific threads that might have addressed your question. This is a great forum and we have a lot of very knowledgeable people participating.

Welcome to the forum! Yes, you can substitute ST185's for ST175's. Slightly taller and wider. Just make sure you have a couple additional inches of clearance and it should be fine.

Agreed. I just replaced the tires (and wheels) on my Jayco Eagle 12. I went from ST175s to St185s. No problems -- clearance or otherwise -- at all.
