Welcome, it is certainly a great adventure that can span your entire life!
Many companies support remote workers and I found that a hot-spot and laptop (VoIP) were all I needed (also had a portable printer, but not critical) to work successfully wherever we were ... only found one place where there was no reception!
As you can see from our signature, we have a travel trailer (TT) - we wanted something that would fit into most California State Parks (there are length limitations) and wanted to use our tow vehicle (TV) to 'see the sights'. Once we upgraded our TV to diesel, we now have the perfect set-up and wouldn't change a thing.
BTW, when researching pay attention not only to quality of the rig, but also warranty (our Jayco has a 2-year one), and if applicable, make sure you have sized your rig and TV appropriately (lots of threads on the importance of this).
