New to the RVing /Travel Trailer from Missouri

Just bought a Jay Flight FB22 about 3 weeks ago. my wife and I are exicted about getting on the road and doing some camping. Like I said we are new to this TT stuff (our first) and if there are any tips or pointers that you can share we would love to hear them. anything from basic stuff to helpful hints and ideas.

Our first big road trip will be coming up right after the Memorial Day weekend. We will be heading up to Minnesota for a week.

Welcome to the forum.....Read things on here and ask questions if you need clarification. The best advice given on here is try camping in your driveway....helps to understand the things that you did not pack....as well prepare a list to be sure you have packed every thing....

Yes, have fun and do loads of surfing on the forum. Lots of friendly fellow campers here.

Get familiar with your rigs systems and be sure to train your family and guests on how to use the amenities on the camper.

Don't try to stuff it all in your head right off the bat or spend all your left over cash on stuff. Using the rig will bring out what you need to take as essentials as well as nice stuff to have and then things you don't need or can do with out.

Make sure you check tire pressures before each trip.

I highly recommend a generator. Even a small 1000 watt one can be invaluable on the road.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Jay Flight! We have one on order and can hardly wait to get camping. A generator can come in handy, but if you plan on staying where there are hook ups, then you won't need it. Save the money for now. Here on the forum, if you haven't already discovered, there is a search function. You can spend day upon day reading up on various subjects. Don't ask me how I know.
Camping in the drive way is excellent advice.
Most important! Take your time and have fun.
