New to the travel trailer thing

Recently bought my sister 2004 jay feather 25z. She needs some updates and some tlc. Crazy how little aftermarket parts out there for a 14 year old trailer. Any input on countertops, backsplashs, and bumper brackets that hollow plastic thing on it now is a eyesore. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

Actually, some see a 14yr old trailer as a 'project' and an opportunity to let their imagination and DIY skills run wild! Look for ideas on the internet and be ready to spend time in home improvement and hardware stores. There are RV surplus stores online, too, and your sister my find some stuff their as well.

Good luck and have fun.

Welcome aboard Seth!

I agree with oldmanAZ, get creative with the backsplash and counter top.

You can try this site. Not sure if they'll have what you need but, it's a cool site nonetheless. Good Luck! www.jaycorvparts.com

Thank you and I think I just overwhelmed myself by trying to do 4 projects at the same time. I look forward to the project itself for sure

Welcome to this Jayco-Forum. Anything made out of material is subject to repair someday. The Trim you probably can get in a small cabinet shop, building supplies or online, it are all standard items. When you think things through with innovation there is always a solution.

Good luck and happy camping!
