New to this group

Hi, I am new to this forum, but not to campers. We have a 25’ classic camper, which we baby, but wanted something smaller and newer. During Covid doldrums, I saw a 145 RB Baja Jay Flight. It seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. It’s a breeze to hitch & tow, looks cool, seems well made and is very enjoyable to camp in. A few mini mods, and shake down trips, and there is a place for everything. Anyway, the more we camp and travel, the better we like it. No complaints at all!

It is a little baby, but very tough! PO installed stainless steel countertops, which I love! Miss a bathroom sink, so put one in the tub. It’s just two of us and sometimes just me, so pretty perfect!

Please post how you installed a sink in your 145 with pictures. This s an issue with spouse (no bath sink) that I would love to fix.

My next install will be a corner bath cabinet. Home depot has one for $53 that is small but light enough unless I need that corner for a sink.

the sink is from Amazon, Serene life SLCASN18. perhaps 'installed' is a term a bit loosely applied. But it works. we often also store things in the tub, so usually take a bottle or two of drinking water into the bathroom for teeth brushing. the shower hose works nicely if you want more water for washing up. the bottom holds water, so it is pretty stable, as well as a little extra water. there is a foot pump, but it is awkward to pump with the base resting in the tub, and I wouldn’t consider the water a clean source, as we don’t drain or sanitize. We stand on the floor to use the sink, not in the tub. We’re thinking of just attaching the sink basin to the wall, but haven’t decided.

Someone a while back posted they put a small sink attached to the shower corner and piped it to water and just ran a hose down near the shower drain.
But they never posted pictures or anything to follow up with. Something to think about for spring!

we thought about that, but didn't want to do something permanent. this is a good solution for us at this time. I've got issues with spitting toothpaste in the kitchen sink!

we do a lot of road trips, and it's way better than stopping at a motel....

about that sink.....we had planned to mount it somehow. the sink itself is very light and small. It's the base that is heavy, so we took the sink off the base and took it out, then removed the tube to the puny faucet. We left the drain hose to run into the tub drain. I noticed there is a hole in each rear corner of the sink, So two 5# command hooks hang it very nicely just inside the shower.

That is what I wanted but ended up with a coachman clipper of almost identical model. I love mine and thinks it is a great idea but for me and just one I am going to be using the bunks as storage since the family has decided not to go camping any more. I mean they do but no more long trips. So enjoy this model. I did enjoy mine when it was more then just me. Happy trails. I am off to Maine in May.
