New to travel trailers

A little about us, we've always did tent camping then the ground seemed to get harder and harder. Last year we bought a used Viking pop up 235 SG, nice big unit but by the end of this summer I was getting a little tired opening it up then closing it up. So I sold my jeep and bought 2011 Jay flight swift. Got it home last weekend, we can't wait to get to go out.

I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions as this is all new to us.

Jim

Welcome and congrats on the new Jay Swift. What model? I'm assuming the jeep was the tow vehicle for the pop up. What are you towing with now? Lots of good info here...

Nope the jeep was my toy, the model of TT 198RD. We're towing it with a 2005 chevy Tahoe 4x4 or I hope it'll tow it, we got it home with it but we have tall mountain ranges to get up.

Congrats, and welcome. We have the same floor plan in our Flight, and love it. Your Tahoe will pull up to 7700 lbs, depending on how it's equiped

Welcome!

Yup. For me the ground started getting too hard in my 40's. And so we moved to the pup. After 7 years, and into my 50's the setup was getting tougher, and the kids aren't along to help nearly so much. So a hybrid it is for us now! The question is, where do I go at 60???
