New (To Us!)Eagle HT 28.5RSTS (2015)

Hi Everybody, Just wondering if anyone knows where the docking light switch is on our rig? If it is the docking lights both sets of LED bulbs are out. Beside it is the awning led switch. Otherwise I think this unit is going to be a very good camper for us.
Thanks
Don and Ruth

Hello all

Not buying for at least 6-7 years as we get closer to retirement time but figured now is a good time to start the gathering info time frame as I know absolutely nothing about TTs. Like what I see re Jayco models but hope this forum, research, and attending a show or two each year will solidify my knowledge regardless of Rv brand. One thing is certain as we know we want a TT and not a motorhome or 5th wheel. Any info or links for noobs will be greatly appreciated!

Hello to you and welcome to the forum.

If you haven't been RVers or campers, there is a lot to learn and I find it a bit surprising that you've ruled out motorhomes and 5th wheels. We prefer a TT also, it's just surprising you picked a TT with knowing so little about them.

Well, time is on your side so there is lots of time to learn what you need to know.

Welcome aboard. We've got an HT model as well. Ours is a 17, but may be similar. There's a toggle switch under the nose that's covered in plastic which operstes our docking lights. No label. Just a switch. Enjoy the new toy.

Congratulations and welcome!

Not positive which light you're referring to as "docking", but if its in the front cap it's likely tied into the awning lights. Our Eagle was setup that way, and we hated it...

Thanks All, still trying to figure out that switch. Opened the panel and it has two white with black stripe small gauge wire attached. Looks about heavy enough to power LED lamps. Guess I'll figure out how to pull one of those round fixtures on the outside nose of this critter!
