New To Us Travel Trailer

Hi there! We recently bought a used 2005 Jayco Jayfeather 25E and are loving it! We had a 1995 Jayco Jay Series 1207 pop-up for the past 5 years and were ready for an upgrade. We live near Chicago and dragged our pop-up to Maine and Montana and many places in between and plan to do the same with the TT. A week after we got our new TT we drove down to the north Georgia mountains for some spring brake hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Had a few minor things that need to be fixed that were covered under our warranty (and we're adding a weight distribution/sway control hitch as we waited to see if we needed/wanted it or not...and we DO!) but other than that, the trailer has been a good purchase for us. For this summer we already have trips planned to western and southern Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin; have to get out as much as we can and enjoy our short and precious summer. Glad to be part of the forum--I've already learned a lot and am sure that I'll learn a lot more!

Welcome. Sounds like you may have to answer a few questions from members on your travels. Enjoying the camping lifestyle is great, especially when you can do it comfortably!
