New Trailer'er

New to the epic world of trailering. I have a job that keeps me in the Pacific NW but with freedom to take jobs all over the area (and avoid the current atmosphere in Portland).
I know NOTHING about living part-time in an RV. My house is 3 hours from Portland. My wood shop is 20 minutes from Portland and this is where I will park. I have a 30 amp service and septic prepped for my trailer.

Any suggestions for ANYTHING would be awesome.'
Cheers

Do you have a water supply? Where can you dump your Black/grey water?

Thanks y'all for the welcome and the invite.

I do have a fresh water supply (amazing water).

Black/Grey water will be sent directly to septic tanks 20' away from where I will be parked. I will need a long hose? The septic system for the woodshop is not used enough so this hook-up will help.

I already installed the conduit and pulled the conductors from my shops electrical panel to a new subpanel for my hook-up (1-30amp & 1-50amp); metered through my shop. **I have not installed anything yet to hook into that panel for the trailer but have a generator for the week until I have everything installed.
I am not interested in solar at this time.
I will rarely unhook and pull this trailer from its pad this year but there are a few camping trips planned and I do have 3 weeks of work in Southern Oregon.
It is a cR@zY market for travel trailers up here in the PacNW. I had to go to Bozeman to find the make/model I wanted. Jayco's are an awesome product.

Tips, tricks and any suggestions are always welcome.
I will be reading through your forum thoroughly.
Cheers

Welcome from Ohio! Enjoy your new venture! My .02 worth with your black tank is to let it fill up quite a bit before dumping even though you are hooked up to a septic system, and then follow with emptying your gray water. This will help prevent backups in your black tank. Take it for what it's worth.

Just checking to see if you understand how the tanks, particularly the black tank works. From the way you worded it, I am not sure. The black tank needs lots of water in it, or you will be sorry later. It cannot be left open to the septic system. The gray tank(s) are used to flush out the residue after dumping the black tank.

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!

Wheels chocked, and trailer level. A mentioned above for the black tank. Since you're going to be stationary, get a flushing wand to rinse it after every dump or two.
That's one system you want to keep working well.
