Welcome aboard from Northern Neck Virginia...

Used to live in Wichita Falls and wife is from Northern Texas and has family buried in Gober TX...

Used to Tent Camp around those parts back in the 60s and 70s usually on the Brazos River or on a Lake somewhere... I think the Brazos River goes south of you not too far away...

Went to Lubbuck a few times on Bad Weather times working with the SKY WARN bunch out of Wichita Falls on Ham Radio back in those days...

Guess you have alot of RV camps around your area in Lubbuck. I would probably head for NM if I was living that far West haha... Go find some woods somewhere to camp...

I remember one truck trip to AZ back then and got blowed under by a whole bunch of tumble weeds rolling across the big road... That was a first for me...

Hope you get going camping some in your new camper and tell us some stories...

We would rather CAMP then do the RV Travel thing...

Roy Ken

Roy it’s always funny to see people’s reaction to our wind and tumbleweeds out here! We have people that will box em up and sell em online!

We like the mountains in NM, usually go up to ruidoso 3 or 4 times each summer. Hard to beat the tall cool pines and horse racing! It’s a nice change from the Sandhills of West Texas. The brazos north fork double mountain fork runs out here, but we need some rain.

Will post pictures of my rig soon. Thanks for all the welcomes!!

Welcome! We just did a trip from Denver to Port Aransas a few weeks ago, stayed overnight in Snyder on the way down and Lubbock on the way back. It's a quick trip to Colorado for you! Enjoy your trailer.
