New WI 23B owners starting Thursday!

We have been looking for a trailer for over 3 years now and finally purchased a 23B. My wife and I grew-up camping and started tent camping while dating. We have a younger son and he is always excited to pack-up the car to get in a long weekend out of town. We grew tired of deflating air mattresses and lack of space/convenience. My parents bought a 24' jayco when I was younger so I am a little spoiled with trailer life. I can't wait for our first trip in a few weeks and more importantly towing a larger trailer for the first time. I look forward to sharing and learning with you all!

Welcome to the JOF, Campin' Muds and congratulations on your new 23B. What will you be towing it with?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I will post a bunch of pics from our first outing and probably one from bringing her home the first day. I will be towing with a '08 Ford Sport Trac Ltd. V8 Can't wait to see how that goes. I think I need a few trips around the lot and I should be ok. Need to figure out how far to swing on turns - anyone have advice? I do plan on our first camp-out to be driveway camping to enjoy the trailer asap - plus load some gear, etc. We have to store ours due to subs. rest. - 2 days in the drive allowed.

Gotta love technology! Thanks Dmax! Maybe we can share favorite camp grounds? I think we are going to southern kettles for the first trip in a couple weeks.

TT is home!! Was easier than expected to tow. Backing into the driveway was another story - need to work on that. I will post pics soon.

Campin' Muds--A good pair of towing mirrors will help on those wide turns. Larry

I do have towing mirror extensions on in the pic but they are hard to see. I still need to figure out how to use them to their highest potential plus turning, timing, etc. Larry to you have the mirrors that extend on your f250?

Nice looking combo you have there Campin' Muds. As far as WI State Parks go we've been to many and my favorite 2 are Wyalusing and Point Beach. DW likes High Cliff best. BTW we live 5 minutes from Kettle Moraine Southern Unit - Ottawa Lake and Pine Woods.

Campin' Muds--Yes I do, they are the factory one's. My kids bought them for me for fathers day last year. I think the got them from a salvage yard. They are very expensive from a dealer. They are worth whatever you have to pay, even aftermarket one's. Larry

Welcome aboard! I'm new here myself, did a lot of trailer camping as a kid, and worked my way back up to a trailer this spring. I will appreciate the fact I won't have to pack EVERYTHING in and out of the car for each trip!
