New XR1201 Toy hauler Camping Trailer - NC

Never owned one before. Just bought one off the dealer lot. We should take delivery in about 2 weeks. I bought it to go to some of the great camping areas in North Carolina and bring the motorcycle along. It has a king and queen bed along with the convertible couch and dinette.

Very excited. Read a great article here just this morning regarding buying and comparing the MSRP to the street price. Was able to get the deal down into the sweet spot so we are very happy with the deal.

Not from a camping background. We borrowed a friends 23 ft RV in the fall and had a blast up in the mountains. We are looking forward to taking the grand kids on some weekenders and also heading down to the Florida Keys.

Will be doing a lot more reading and studying in the next couple of months. Maybe some backyard camping to get familiar.

Jon

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

GREAT IDEA... backyard camping.. no better place to get started. Getting a spot in the Keys will take some planning, as they fill up 11 months in advance at the State Campgrounds..

Don
