Newb from SE Wisconsin

Went this weekend and finally bought a TT. My wife and I have only been wanting one for about 12 years, but something always took precedent. We went to the Milwaukee RV show and ordered/bought a 2012 Jayco X20E. We're super excited and should have it in about 4-6 weeks. We are now planning our weekends and trips for the spring/summer/fall. We're hoping we love our TT as much as we imagined we would for the past 12 years :hihi:

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the new trailer and remember Camp Driveway is a great place to find out what you might forget before you do it.

Welcome to the JOF JoeyBear! A year and a half ago, we "camped" for a month with our tt at the Fairground in Milwaukee. We enjoyed a few days of the state fair, weekdays bike riding on the paths and visiting relatives, and on weekends going to the festivals or visiting neighboring cities. You have some nice places to visit there. Congrats on your new tt. Have you decided where you will take your maiden voyage yet?

Thanks a bunch, everyone! We lived in Alaska for 9 years and like I said, something always got in the way. We love camping and our 4 year old loves it, too. He doesn't like when we're in the tent and it's raining, but the tt should solve that problem Our first voyage will be out to Bong State Park...close enough if we forget stuff but still away from home and having fun!

btw Crabman...commercial fished in AK for 6 years

That`s great! Were you going after salmon?, I`ve read a lot about Bristol Bay and the big run there with all those 32' gillnetters fighting for the prize!

Fished for everything...set net bumper boats in Bristol, long line, black cod, halibut, shrimp, and crab.

My wife and I are very excited and our son, Moose, wants to know where the camper is and when its going to be here!

Our harvest here is mostly Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab. I have done some gillnetting and oyster dredging in my younger days.

Camping season will be here before ya know it. Moose will be happy then!
