Newbees no more, 1 yr under our belts.

Well as the title states we are no longer newbies that didn't now where that smell was coming from (Grey tanks need additives too!), why the antenna on top of the roof wasn't working but rabit ears did (Had to push the button on the receptable to turn it on!) or why that ear peircing gas alarm kept going off (When not connected to a power source and having a dead battery!). So we have had many questions our first year and limped along getting answers from other campers. Sure wish we had found this site early on! Oh well! As an insite as to how we operate, we bought a truck on Mon, camper on Tue and went to Kentucky on Thr, all in the same week! Talk about not knowing what we were doing! Ahhh but the adventure! It was awsome! Look forward to getting answers from fellow Jayco owners/campers and maybe even sharing what knowledge we have from our first year of camping in our Jayco Eagle. We've winterized and put our camper to rest for the winter and look forward to getting back out there next April. Hope to see you there! From a semi-retired soldier and his wife

Aww.. I still have 3 months to go...

Honestly I can't believe we purchased our TT and joined this forum back in January. It seems like last week...

I guess what they say is true, time flies when you are having fun....
