newbie

Just bought my first pop up. 1999 jayco eagle 12 SO. Any info would be helpful. As I dont know how to use or fix some things. Like furnace doesnt work. I looked at the fuses, all are good. No lights inside work, all the outlets do. any feedback on starting points are welcomed!

welcome

the furnace could be many things..electrical,gas,furnace it self, thermostat

the interior lights are likely the kill switch to keep lights off when roof is down. Likely on top of your galley??

good luck

I looked up some info. I believe the safety switch may be located along the bottom edge of the roof on the roadside. I would test it by taking the wires off the back and touching them together and see if the lights come on.

does the furnace come on at all?

or does it blow and not light?? (no heat)

Your 12 volt issues (no lights and no furnace) could be a bad converter as well. replacing it isn't a big issue though

found a switch on the outside, on the side opposite the entry door. flipped that, that didnt work, but that may not have been the correct one. Do i need to make sure the converter is on if im connected to shore power?
