Newbie

Hello! My husband and I just bought our first camping trailer - a 2003 Jayco Kiwi 23b. We're both so excited and can't wait to go on our first trip. We've already learned a lot from this forum. Thanks for being here!

Good Morning!
We live in Gatlinburg, TN. Our first camping trip will be to Pigeon Forge, TN, which is only 10 miles away, and we'll venture out from there. We've had it set up in the driveway for a week now, making sure we know how everything works. One negative thing about buying something used - doesn't always come with instructions.

But luckily, you can download the manual from Jayco!

But, whatcha gonna do 'bout the mods done by the previous owner? I shudder to think of the cussing the next owner of my old trailer is going to do.

[My ears are ringing already and I haven't sold it yet]

As was posted earlier you can obtain a copy of the owners manual.

I would also suggest that you get the make and model numbers of all the appliances, water heater, refrigerator, heater, MW, awning and anything else. And do a search on line and you should be able to obtain manuals, parts info etc. for those items Save them to your hard drive for future reference.
Also copy down serial numbers.
