Newbie :-)

Hello all!
We just joined this forum and stopped by to say hi! We currently own a 2011 Jayco Baja 14F (highwall - toyhauler - popup) We are in the market for a used or possibly new bunkhouse 5th wheel. After looking at numerous other brands, we still keep coming back to Jayco We have located a used 355 FBHS within a few hours drive that we may jump on, but we are trying to be patient and wait for the local RV show coming up here in a few weeks.
A little about us, we are a retired military family (Coast Guard) who live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. My husband Don and I (Heather) have 3 daughters who love to camp and a chubby dog who just loves to be with us. We're excited to be here and hope to meet some of you while out enjoying our favorite past time - CAMPING. Thanks!

No answer yet. The 355FBHS is very similar to my 30.5BHLT Eagles are great well built units. I don't full time but use it more than normal being retired, about 45 days of the last 60. DW + home schooled grandson we are raising, medium size dog and a cat. The length will take getting used to after the 14F, and there will be some spots too small to get that into. I have no complaints or issues. The wife's only issue is a little more room around the master-bed, making it easier to change bedding. I look for in a unit are where I can I access the kitchen & bathroom with the slides closed. Quick stops traveling are way easier with access to food and potty. You have more than enough truck. Hope that helps and welcome.

Hello to all of you! Welcome to the JOF and happy trailer shopping.

We love the Black Hills, but don't get there often anymore. Seems you put a lot of distance from any coast, there in SD.

Welcome, and happy hunting. Shopping for a new camper is so much fun! When you find what you want, look it over...twice.

Hello and welcome.

I was told when a sailor wants to retire - they put an oar on their shoulder and walk inland until someone says, "What's that?".

Then they settle down.
