Welcome to the JOF and here's hoping you find a good dealer and a good deal on a Redhawk.

Food for thought. I traveled to Grand Rapids Mi. from Delaware to save $5,000. Would I do it again, NO!!. Even though all Jayco dealers are suppose to honor warranty and service, and can loose their Jayco License to sell Jaycos. They have a way of putting you on the back burner. You never know if you are being dealt with fairly. Also if you have a general question they will ask you who is your salesman. Then they know you didn't purchase there. Again how much effort you think they will give you? Just my opinion! You have a dealer in Williamstown, N.J. I would barter with them till you get a comparable price. A few thousand dollars compared to gas and tolls to go somewhere else not worth it. Good Luck on your purchase, Frog

We had a bad experience with chesaco. I personally would never shop them again. Among other things the sales manager berated my wife over the phone when she told him we weren't going to buy a trailer from them. Took over two months to get our deposit back. We found Keystone RV in Greencastle PA and got a better deal. But if they give you a good deal go for it. Just make sure when you do the paperwork its for a unit with the right options... Our sales guy tried that...

But again if they make you a good deal, make sure your getting the right options and go for it. I know some sales guys are not honest and maybe the sales manager was having a bad day... Had he treated my wife with respect, like he did me when I called him to discuss how he treated her, I may feel differently about them...

Bought mine from Chesaco RV on Rt 40 in Edgewood. Bought my Coleman p-up from them as well. Haven't really had a bad experience there. I've heard horror stories from other people (not on here) that their service dept is not so great. I took my p-up there back in 03' to have the roof replaced under warranty. No questions asked. All in all, good experience with them. Might wanna look at Leo's as well.

Just to be clear, Chesaco has 3 locations in Md. My issues were with the one in Gambrills also known as Happy Travelers.

I've done business with Fretz in the past. Fretz was also very good to me. Bob Spack is a solid salesman and honest. The service department over there was pretty good when I had a problem with my pop up. They diagnosed over the phone, and sent the part out to me next day with installation instructions. They even called me back after a few days to see how it went and if everything was okay.

If I were closer to Fretz I'd buy from them again.

If you can get one from Whitehorse, I know they'll also talk care of you. Great service department over there too.
