Newbie from Thunder Bay, Ontario

After many months of research we have finally purchased our first TT. I had looked at many different brands and floor plans that would suit the needs of 2 kids age 11 and 8 as well as my wife and I. So after a lot of price comparing at numerous dealers in the US, Ontario and Manitoba I managed to get the best deal at my local dealer. We purchased a 2014 Whitehawk 28DSBH. I found the Jayco to be a very well built trailer but what really sold me was the 2 year warranty and the quality of materials used. We are planning an east coast trip this year and in 2015 we plan to travel to the west coast.
I spent many hours on this site reviewing posts and learning a lot about travel trailers. When I went to the dealer to make the deal I felt very confident about my decision to purchase.
Looking forward to many memories in our new Jayco. Thanks to everyone who contribute to this site.

Don

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome. As the snow melts in the next few months I will have lots of questions I'm sure as I get out and start using the new TT.

We plan to go to Kakabeka Falls and Sibley Provincial Park and possibly head to Grand Marais Mn sometime this summer before we head to the East coast. We have a family camp on Lake Superior so we plan to us the TT as a bunk house when we are not on the road.
