Cool Newbie in Massachusetts

Hi All!
We purchased a Jay Feather Ultra Lite 19H camper a few months ago and are preparing for our first trip this weekend to Vermont. We are very excited and look forward to browsing the forums for tips, tricks, and gotchas. Any first time owners advice folks are willing to share will be greatly appreciated!
We're towing with a 2012 Toyota Highlander w/tow package.

Glad to be here!

Very nice! Did you buy from Forrest Marine? Great people to deal with. Congrats and look forward to hearing about your trips and favorite places as we are also from Mass. We are heading to Baileys this weekend at Old Orchard Beach. Never been there but here good things. This will be our 1st out in our new camper. We have camped in the driveway a couple times but have not towed since the short trip home from the dealer.

There is lots of info here that helped us tons as new owners last year. Yup, thats right 1 year and then we upgraded and went bigger. They warned us that would happen.LOL

Good luck, Jay

Hi there!
Yes, we did buy it at Forrest, love the staff there. I'll certainly keep you updated on our trips throughout the summer. Have fun up at Old Orchard Beach....I haven't been there in years!
Take care,
sal

Hey Jay, how's your weekend going? The weather up here in VT is rainy and cold however we're warm and dry in our 19H TT. I'm guessing it's not much different in Old Orchard Beach. Stay warm!

Yes, it was cold and rainy... But everyone had a blast. We went through lots of clothing for the kids as the favorite activity for the weekend seemed to be finding the deepest puddle. Everything worked great on the trailer!Click image for larger version
