Newbies from virginia

Hi All, My husband and I bought a Granite Ridge about 3 months ago and have been working diligently getting ready to start fulltiming - hopefully Aug 1st will be the begining of our new adventure. We are really excited and have actually been living full time in it for the last two weeks while we finish up things with the house. We absolutely love the Rv, looked at what seemed like 1000 before we found this one and immediately felt at home in it. We were a little worried about how all the animals (3dogs 2cats) would be but they have just been great. A few minor issues like broken drawer stops and one big issue - L rear jack cylinder won't retract but will store, so we're taking it in to be fixed this week. I joined a few of the other Rv forums before I found you all and have to say that Rv people have to be the most friendly and helpful around, I hope I get to meet some of you on the road.

Bailinout, if they are any thing like Rosco our Minpin they will find a spot take over and that will be it. Like you we to are newbies to the trailer life always camped just not in a trailer, we have had our Eagle super light for about a month now and we just got back from our third trip from the local lake. My wife and me are not full timers yet you could consider us part timers still have a few years for that to happen (if it ever gets there) but I am going to do my part to wear the tires out. I figured it out, its like having kids you can talk about forever, but one day you just have to say lets do it. Enjoy it, me and my family have been loving every min of it, including Rosco the dog

Hey Texas T, by any chance, is Rosco just a little bit spoiled?

X2. If you get a chance, you should camp at Belle Isle State Park right up the road from you. A real nice park with friendly staff.
