Newbies getting a 25BH

Hello All!

After talking about it for years, we are getting ready to buy our first RV, a Jayco 25BH or maybe a 23BHM. We really like the 25BH but our tow vehicle is a 2015 Chevy Colorado v6. It's rated for 7,000lbs towing capacity and just over 1500 lbs payload but I'm a little worried the 25BH might be too much for it. I'll start a new thread in the Travel Tailer forum asking for input.

We are really looking forward to being part of the community.

Joe

Welcome. We have the Jay Feather 7 22BHM. Love the murphy bed floorplan. We downsized to this smaller trailer and absolutely love it. Good luck in your search.

Welcome. I have a new 25bh and my friend has a new Colorado. My opinion is that it may big a little much for the truck. You will probably need at the least a 1/2 ton to be comfortable towing the 25bh. Again, this is just my opinion and some experience towing a 25bh. Here is a recent thread with the same question. Good luck.
