Howdy!
I'm new to this "Travel Trailer" thingy. I just bought a 2006 Jayco Jayflight 25RKS towable from the original Purchaser, that has never been cooked-in, sleep in only 4 times, and has ~150 miles on it. It was parked on a concrete pad at the coast as a "Get-A-Way" plan for inclement weather, but never used for a weather event.
I've put 4 new tires on it and brought it home, where I'm systematically going thru all components to check for proper operation and any needed repairs/restorations. I'll likely be posting questions about what I find as I look for solutions from you who have been there...
Thanks!

We traded our 2005 25RKS in on a Jayco Redhawk... loved the trailer, but we had to start thinking about the hassle of hooking and un-hooking, and the safety issue of not having to get out at dark and lonely rest stops.

I'll try to help with 25RKS questions.

Tag,

Welcome and congrats on the new rig!!!

Couple things to make sure to look at are the wheel bearings and reseal all the roof seams. Also check the rubber propane hoses for leaks.

Did you replace the spare also?

Ask any questions you may have, we will try to help!!!

Good luck and enjoy the rig!!!

Welcome to JOF. I hope you get a load of enjoyment from the rig. It sounds like it's basically unused and should serve you well.

There are a lot of helpful members here who will certainly help you with any questions you have.

Tires are a good start. A thorough inspection of the roof and all systems should keep you busy and allow you to learn much!
