Not new to Camping, But new to Jayco

Hello Everyone,

My family have become the proud owners of a 2022 Jayco 171BH. We are picking it up on May 6th and looking forward to planning our new adventures with it.

The technologist in my is already trying to redesign the power distribution, but have agreed to wait a year before doing anything crazy.

Thanks for having me,

Cody

Welcome to the forum, great source of down to earth information and tips. Don't let the sales folks rush you through the orientation and even then you'll forget stuff like water valve positions, etc. Once you take possession go through the whole thing looking for loose screws, nuts, wire connections etc. Check the wheel lug nuts and tire pressures. You will find something amiss! Do a "shakedown" trip in your own driveway if possible or close by, you will forget something! Have fun out there, a great adventures await!

Welcome!

Take lots of notes, do a lot of thinking, it's not hard to make your rig better than new so you get what you want, not what you had to buy. Modifications and improvements are half the fun. I'll keep an eye out a year from now about that new power distribution. ; )
