Outdoor Kitchen (stove) Question

Greetings, I have a 2011 32BHDS. Love this thing. I use the outdoor kitchen every trip and find it very handy.

My question (frustration) is with the gas connect to the underside of the stove itself.

I would like to spend 10 min with the person who came up with that design!!

The connection to the trailer is fine. But to get the quick connect set on the underside of the stove is more often an exercise in scraped knuckles and swear words.

Does anybody have a retro fit solution to this? Will Jayco consider a remodel of this connection to like…I don’t know, somewhere reasonable like the back side of the stove?

Seem to me an elbow turned to the exterior of the stove is more than doable.

Anybody here have a solution they can share?

Thanks!
