Pardon me, while I introduce myself....
Hello there! I'm just throwing my "Howdy" out to all, I've been lurking unregistered for a few months, looking for answers to my many questions, which most have been answered by many of the threads here...others I stuck to it, and figured it out LOL...
My wife and I recently sold our TT and Dually to turn a page and go Class C, we bought used, (2017) and though campers are campers, the motorhome is actually QUITE a different experience so far....Still getting used to it, but we are pretty sure we love it! We'll know more about that when we finally get to take it out for the "Our" maiden voyage....
I have a 2017 Chevy Traverse I'll be dinghy towing, (If I hooked up right LOL) and am very curious how it will do. I have read much about it, but most tow everything BUT a Traverse. I think there has been a time or two some here have asked questions about the hookup (which I drew from, THANKS!) but the final results are rarely covered. I hope to throw out a post about my setup and experience. I had planned to do a few pics or video as I installed all the components, but fell short (well lets be honest, LAZY) and can only offer up what I ran into and worked around ...verbally and maybe a few AFTER pics. I wound up, after researching here and everywhere, to go with a Blue-Ox baseplate, and Readybrute Elite towbar that has the integrated surge brake and wired the lights with a diode pack. It came out really nice looking, but haven't test towed as of yet....
I have done a ton of mods on my past campers, but this camper has a lot to it already, the only thing I can think of adding is a separate receptacle for external 20amp from the pedestal. I can post pics when I get around to it LOL. Also, planning on getting a Scanguage II (but that's really not a mod)...
Other than that, ask what you will of me, I'll do my best to contribute as I can, and thanks for having me!
Still working on the signature....I'll get it!!!
