Project in Washington

I just purchased a 1995 Jayco 2940FL Class C motor home and I do have a bit of a project ahead of me. To make a long story shorter, I purchased this motor home with no roof....a lot of wet heavy snow is not a good situation for an RV.... So I have basically a complete remodel inside, some items are salvageable, but most is garbage. I have noticed most of the comments are related to newer motor homes but I am just hoping that as I make my way through this that I can gain some valuable information from you all who sound very knowledgeable. I am excited for the adventure!

Welcome to the forum and WOW! you do have quite a project ahead of you!

Hopefully you'll keep us posted of your progress. You will be down to the 'bones' of your motorhome; a good deal further down than most. What you discover along the way may be able to help others on this site.

Bon voyage...

Welcome to JOF. When you get this project done, you may be the resident expert.

I have done some minor repairs to a few MH roof and walls, inside and out but it was not my finest moment!

You may have a one of a kind rv, a convertible.

Welcome to the forum! You have a long but rewarding road ahead of you, but in the end you'll have an RV built the way you want it.

If you are looking for inspiration, check out this Class A rebuild. They've been working on their rig for a few years, although I've been following their progress only for a few months.

Good luckl!
