Retired

Hello everyone ! Husband just retired from 30 years in police work. Daughter just graduated college so we decided we want to see a tiny bit of the world ! We have had a travel trailer before when daughter was younger but we really didn't use it that much. Thought we would try again. We bought a 2011 jayco FB. We knew it needed work and boy did it ever. Bathroom was pretty bad. Someone let the skylight leak. Husband tore into it and completely fixed it. We are close to having it finished and can't wait for our first trip!!

Happy travels, stay safe and see as much as you can.

Suggestion, if you don't have them get the National Parks pass.

Welcome to the Forum. Retirement is great but the only problem I have with it is I can't ever remember which day is Saturday. LOL

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Welcome

Retired 2 years ago this month after 34 years as a LEO. No regrets and no worries. Surprised that I did not miss the job at all - but do miss the people. The good news is that there are plenty of good and friendly people to meet on this forum, along the roadside and at the campgrounds ahead.

From now on you two no longer have to worry about which day of the week it is. When you're retired, it's always just six Saturdays followed by a Sunday.

Safe travels,
