RV's are selling like hot cakes!

Hi Everyone!

We go meet her today! Our first RV. Eagle HT 306RKDS.

Right now we are overwhelmed with all that we need to learn and buy!! We're both glued to the forum and making lists!

We love the mountains and the beach...we took a trip out west this summer with hotel stays and with the fires it was a mess! Different hotel every night & trying to stay near Seattle for our flight home. When we got home we both started looking.

Our dealer is crazy busy and with all of us newbies posting here, I think the Ntl Parks are going to be crazy next year! haha!

In Thx to my husband, my first goal is going to be making the best chocolate chip cookies in my RV oven!

Chris

Congrats and welcome! You are absolutely right about State/Nat'l Parks, they're ALWAYS packed. For the most-popular places you really should be looking at least 6-12 months out for scheduling.

Happy Camping!

Welcome to the forum and the RV lifestyle.

Don't worry about buying everything you read about right away. Buy the basics now, hoses, leveling blocks, etc. and then pick up what you need along the way.

Congratulations on your new rig. Please give the location of your cookie baking so I can stop by and test them to make sure they're ok!

Welcome and congrats! The invasion from the country side to the cities has been going on for a long time. That's why cities grow so fast and get more expensive to live in (Governments like this). Now many add expenses to flee the city to fill the parks and campsites and the Walmart parking lots. Are we going to have a shift again?

By the way, we absolutely love St. Augustine. We come at least once a year and were just there last month. My oldest daughter and I did the zip lines over at the alligator farm and had a blast.

Oh, I'm so glad you love our town! It is a great place! We love it here...retired here after many, many years of being weekenders!

So....did you camp here?

Our very first outing with our new RV will be across the street at Ocean Grove RV.
I'm figuring if there's anything we forgot, we'll just go home and get it!

Next time you come to St Aug...if we're not off RVing, I'll bring you cookies!

We've probably visited 3 dozen times or more over the last 15 years or so. We've actually never camped there. We normally stay at the Fairfield Inn over on Camping World drive at the intersection of 16 and 95. We are planning to haul the trailer down for a while next summer if all goes well.

Cuccina Giovanni's over by the outlets and Adventure Landing is our favorite restaurant on the entire east coast.
