Sailboat to WhiteHawk

Hi: New Jayco WhiteHawk 27RB owners. AND - we love it so far. First outing - "Shakedown Cruise" this past weekend and had 70mph winds while camping. Not as exciting as a sailboat but when the Pines are whipping around - still got a little nervous. Had very minor issues with the new TT and the weekend was a success.

Enjoy. We did the same came off our sailboat and now enjoying land. Our motto is, Home is where the Anchor drops. We named our trailer the Anchor. Hard to give up the nautical side.

Welcome to the site from SW Michigan. Wow, we were in a storm one time while in our pop up. The winds whipped up quick. I parked the van in front of the camper to help block the wind. Then saw the camper across the field from us lose their awning.

That's quite a transition. I went from airplanes to RVs. Enjoy the journey.

Welcome to JOF from California! Hope you didn’t give up sailing altogether. Believe me, there is time to do both!

Thanks all for the welcome -

Thank you all for responding - makes me wonder why I didn't do this sooner!!

LuckDuck - Weird coincidence - that was the name of our boat. "Just Ducky" was the Dink.

Sailed all the Great Lakes and some Blue water - and I'm sure there will still be a sail or two left in our time.
