Seven Years Pop Up - Soon A Jayco 5'er!

Hello all, from Colorado! We have loved traveling around with our PopUp for years (but not the set-up/take-down!) So, after years of research, and shows, and hemming and hawing, we finally ordered a new Jayco Pinnacle 31RLTS. Should be here in April! Had a PullRite SS hitch put in the TV this week. We are ready to go! From all the comments on this forum, we think we made the right choice with Jayco. A little nervous about that first "pull out" and drive home from the dealer, but we'll take it slow! :hihi:

Welcome to the JOF rvee5er! I would have loved to have jumped from our pop-up to something as nice as a Pinnacle. Nice! Now the hard part is to wait for delivery. While waiting, peruse Youtube for some video's to help you prepare for pulling the 5'er for the first time... .LOL Congrats

That's a big jump from a PUP to a 5er. I hope to get a 5er some day too :-)
Safe travels,
Doug

Steadyfast-JT's Strongarm-BAL LockArm-Plugit Right Stabilizers

Appreciate all the "welcome" replies. This should be fun!

A newbie question: I intend on installing stabilizer bars from the getgo. Seems there are four popular brands: Steadyfast, JT's Strongarm, BAL LockArm, and Plugit Right.
All seem like they will do the job, but I would appreciate any quidance or suggestions. Particularly on installation ease and durability, or any other thoughts?
(For example, will the enclosed underbelly of my 5W pose any problems for any brand?) (I do not have the 5W yet, just trying to get ready.....!)

I really appreciate your comments!

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but congratulations on your 5er. As for the stabilizers, I just finished checkout on the Steadyfast system. I've been waffling on this for quite some time with a lot of thought. I bought the Steadyfast system for a couple of reasons. First, the locking devices only require bending down, not crawling under the unit. Second, there are 3 bars to lock and finally, the locking nuts are big and seem easy to tighten.
