Smiles from West Virginia

Hi All,

Husband and I just purchased our first TT a 2016 Jay Flight 24RBS. Now, the hard part is waiting for warmer weather. I'm looking out our living room window at 19 inches of snow!

We are looking forward to learning from ya'll.

Smiles from West Virginia

Welcome from the other side of WV! Outside of Charles Town we are looking at 40 inches of snow and we too are looking at our trailer in all that snow wishing for camping weather!

Congratulations on your Jay Flight and welcome to the JOF.

I see snow out my window, too, but it is just where I like it... where I can see it up on the mountain but I don't have to shovel it.

Welcome to JOF. Maybe the dealers in WV could throw in a snow shovel with the new rig! Hope you enjoy and become an active member here of JOF.

Congratulations on the new unit. I just purchased the same unit. However I have not yet taken possession of it. The dealer damaged it while still on the lot. It is awaiting repairs. I am trying to be patient, but I am dying here, the weather in Georgia is very up and down. So the opportunity to take it out is always within reach. I am considering having them order me a new unit, but the wait will be at least 8-12 weeks. I've already waited two.

I grew up in WV, a small town in the Tri-state area, Wheeling. That was a long time ago, before WV became an outdoor recreation destination

I am home now in Georgia. I think this is a great site. I've only been a member myself for about a week, but there is loads of information on it.

What are you towing the 24 rbs with and which interior did you go with? Any plans for modifications?

Again Welcome!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. We just can't wait to get out there!

Giljmo our interior is "Coffee." We love the fabric and the rich brown color. No modifications planned but I'm sure DH will make a list after browsing this forum

We plan to pick it up as soon as the snow clears. Unfortunately, it's headed for storage until April or May. Meanwhile, we'll do a lot of reading here.

Smiles!

Greetings from the Huntington area of West Virginia, and welcome to the Jayco family, and to the forums!

We go to Florida three or four times a year, and every time we go, it reminds us of why we moved from Fort Lauderdale to WV. Florida is dun to visit, but I'd sure never want to live there again! :-)
