SunCruzin in CA with our Skylark

Hello Everyone!

We purchased our 2011 Skylark FKV at the end of Oct and I think we taken it camping about 6 times since then!

We had the Reese 66153 SC 800 lbs Trunnion Bar WD Kit & Built In Friction Sway Control put on it and that's working out really well, it's easy to put on & take off.

We haven't put the electric tongue jack on it yet but that's the next thing I'm working on before I take it out on our next trip!

We bought it knowing that we'll be taking it on a long road trip this summer; we'll be leaving from CA and going to Alaska for 3 months this summer.

I'm looking forward to sharing with other Jayco owners!

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Cyndi! I hadn't heard of Lake Balboa and had to mapquest it. Looks like we pass ya up anytime we head to LA area to visit relatives. Congrats on your Skylark. We are still considering the electric tongue jack, but just keep putting it off

Cindi, wanted to thank you for the time you took with your response. Also wanted to let you know that I just put my deposit down on a new 2012 skylark. Am now anticipating its arrival.
