The EAGLE has landed!! Well the deposit has anyway.
Yep there she is! The 322FKS that my beautiful wife & I just put a deposit down on !!! We are travel nurses and are living n a 20 foot fun finder 189 FBS So stepping up to the 34 footer is going to be awesome !!! Looking forward to joining the Jayco family and pulling this beast with our 2011 Toyota Tundra.
If I could ask one question off the bat does anyone know how big the water heater is in this unit? The Fun Finder has a 6 gallon water heater. Is that a standard size ?
Hope to get to talk to you guys soon !!

Congratulations, that is a great unit. We owned a 322FKS for a couple of years before upgrading to a fith wheel (351 RLTS). I hope you are as happy with your unit as we were. If I remember correctly ours had a 10 gallon water heater. May have been larger, but bottom line we seldom ran out of hot water. I thiink you will notice a big difference. The last year we ownwd the 322FKS we spent 6 months in it and decided we wanted more living space.

Welcome to the forum, oejeffrey. Nice unit. Some of the larger trailers have 10 gallon water heater tanks, but some also have 6. You do not mention what model year it is but there is info available on the Jayco website, archive section for past year models.

Welcome to the JOF oejeffrey! We had another traveling nurse couple here a couple of years ago. They seemed pretty happy with their upgrade. Hope all works out well for you! Congrats

We are here in Virginia until at least Jan 22... Maybe longer if the hospital wants to extend pur contract, then who knows? I am thinking Florida in feb,mar & apr would not be bad. We love our little ff ! It is a great vacation machine but since we are full timers it is just not big enough. We are getting a 06 model. 10 gal sounds way better than 6 I tell ya.

WOW - that's a sharp looking TT. Congrats on acquiring it, and I hope y'all have many years of pleasure in it. Where in Virginia are you currently located ? What hospital do you work at ? We are in the Shenandoah Valley, and I have been a patient in Winchester, Rockingham, and UVA. Used to work at Walter Reed many years ago - Nuclear Medicine. Enjoy !!

The beautiful wife is a er nurse @ Mary Washington. She has been a nurse for about 12 years and I am a LPN. WHich basically means I do everything the RNs do but get paid less. So in my world LPN stands for Low Payed Nurse. We just got to Virginia a few weeks ago so we are still learning our way around.

I agree, looks like a nice clean 2005 (??) Eagle TT.
I'm sure having the extra room for your traveling life style will be welcomed!

Well anything is possible, mine is a '05' and has the same paint scheme as the Eagle you are looking at...., just thought Jayco changed the paint schemes from year to year. Anyway, the title will confirm.
Here's my '05' Eagle:

Diane & Jeffrey - I agree 1000% that nurses are grossly underpaid in this country for all the things they do. Having worked in several hospitals, I have witnessed many instances where the nurse appears to know as much or more as the physician, at least in that instance. Not to disparage doctors - most are good at what they do, but they frequently know a little bit about a lot of things, but that nurse behind the doc is a specialist in what he/she does. Kinda like the saying that behind every good man is a great woman to keep him pointed in the right direction. Same is true of most doctors, IMHO

Congrats on new trailer. I don't know if you know this but if you turn on the gas and electric on the water heater you pretty much have continuous hot water. I learned that here and my family of 5 can take back to back showers and have plenty of hot water.
