Talking Walk Through and Pick Up Tomorrow

Growing up my family pulled a Starcraft Constellation 8 pop-up all over the country. Tomorrow I do my walk through and then pull home our first "adult life" TT, a new 2011 G2 33RLDS. Definitely an upgrade! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

One suggestion, if you have a camcorder or such take it alone as there is a lot to comprehend and you'll be glad you did. The dealer won't mind.

Take a camcorder. If not, take a pen and paper and prepare to write A LOT.
Key points to pay special attention would be the location of fuse/breaker panel, the location of the bypass valves (if you winterize) and the valves outside for your tanks and the low point drains.
Make sure they turn on the furnace for you during the walk through. It will smell for a few minutes, but better to do it at the dealer and make sure it works.
Also have them show you how to retract the slide manually in the event you have to do it manually.
GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS on your new purchase!!!!!

Congratulations. We are picking up a new 2010 Jayco 17Z tomorrow. We wanted something small and simple. For the past 12 years we have had 2 different Class A motorhomes. Looking forward to alot less maintenance!

We also downsized from many years of class A motorhomes to a 2009 JayFlight last Sept. Love it.

Let me get in line and say "welcome to the group" , I hope you'll enjoy the forum and post as often as you can. Include some pictures the first time you take that new trailer out camping.

Not yet... In the airport in Cincy at the moment. But I'll be home tonight! Can't wait to kiss my wife, hug my son, and hold my 7 week old baby again.

THEN go get my new trailer.
