X213 Newbie from Saint Petersburg, Florida (Tampa Bay Area)

Wow, do we love our 2012 Jayco X213. Our tow vehicle is a 2008 F250 Super Crew, 6.4L Diesel, King Ranch. We have now been out four times in Florida and South Carolina and, the more we travel ,the better it gets. Having been longtime popup pullers it has been a lot of fun and a bit of a learning experience, too, to have an ultra light TT. But the best memories for us are often where the hardest lessons are learned.

I'm looking forward to finding other J.O. members in Florida and joining some of you in the future to share a campground and maybe a meal. We usually travel with two other couples to various state and county parks but we are the only ones with a Jayco. That may change though, now that they have seen our X213.

Me and "Mrs. Doc" are lifers in Florida- I was born in Alachua county, and my wife has lived here since she was knee high to a Gopher Tortoise.Click image for larger version

I joined the Forum in February of 2013 but this is my first serious post.

How about a shout out if you have a X213 or live in Florida. Just tell me what city or area you live in.
I'd enjoy hearing from anyone and everyone.Click image for larger version

What is the Forum's membership total anyway?

Welcome to the user friendly Jayco Owners forum! Our members just love to answer questions or help out other members when possible and have fun sharing their experiences . They also love pictures of your RV, tow vehicles, and campsites!! So do not hesitate to post pics of your Jayco in the "Pics of your Jayco forum" and pics of your tow vehicle in the "Tow Vehicle forum".

Feel free to participate in our many fun polls (first thread in New Members forum has them all listed, second thread has more new member welcoming info). Post often, have fun with the forum, and enjoy your Jayco!

We are into our fourth summer of camping with our 213 and still love it. Getting ready to make our first 213 trip "east" to Lake of the Prairies in Manitoba on Sunday. Many of the forum 213 owners are towing 213's with 1/2 tons or SUV's, bet that diesel of yours barely notices a 213 .
