The rain here in SE Michigan finally let up for a couple of hours and it gave me an opportunity to go over my new camper with a fine toothed comb. Still in love, but working for Ford, I've grown accustomed to the highest quality and attention to every detail. This particular Jayco doesn't measure up. Two stabilizer jacks are mounted crooked, and the radio antenna is also mounted crooked. The door has noticeable voids of weather stripping. There are some brads protruding from the cabinetry. The JSteel sofa makes a "clunk" as the springs move to support my modest 170lb weight.

Most of these problems are cosmetic, but show a lack of attention to detail and respect for the consumer. I still am very pleased with my purchase, but will take photos of these "things gone wrong" and send them to Jayco...hoping only that they realize that these things are indeed important.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the bathroom door latch and starboard storage compartment latch needed adjustment, and the stove grate was missing some rubber grommets. But...to be fair, my Winnebago (purchased new) also had problems...but those were significant and functional, not just cosmetic.

Welcome to the forum from Minnesota. Hope you enjoy your new Jayco (problems and all) as much as we like our new 242.

No worries on the problems. They all have them. Fixing and improving is part of the RV lifestyle. If RVs were made like automobiles, we'd have nothing to do! <LOL>
