Yet Another Newbie Joining the Fray

Have to start by saying this website is a wealth of information and a digital version of what we hope to find in joining the real world of RVing. Tagged along on a few trips with a brother who had an Airstream a few years back and have been TT floor plan shopping for 2+ years and waiting to obtain a truck and all finally came together. Took delivery last week of a 2015 Jay Flight 34RSBS, after plans to travel out of state to get a new 2014 Eagle 298RLDS fell through. We really liked the eagle floor plan but once we saw the 34RSBS at our local RV show last month, jumped at the opportunity to upgrade both in size and a couple of key inside items for us at basically the same price. Getting things ready now to hopefully take it out as soon as next week, starting slow with a few trips close in to simply get used to setting up / tearing down and figuring out what we need come time for longer trips. Expecting to learn plenty as we figure this all out...

fielro, tow vehicle came from a good family friend recently, 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, quad cab, long bed, w/the big Cummins Diesel in a 6-speed manual. Just turned 85k miles driving it from Calif to Texas recently. Have pics here:
