Admin Question re: trouble posting relies/logged out?

I have had several instances where I have signed in to my account, written a reply to a post in either my own thread or someone else's, and when I click the the tab to post, a pop-up says I am not logged in! I click to log in and all the text I have just written disappears! Does this system automatically log out after such a short period of time?

Have you clicked on the Remember Me checkbox when logging in?

Thank you for the quick response! NO, I hadn't clicked the "remember me" box.
Can it be that simple? LOL
I have now checked that box and will learn soon if that solved the issue

You should not have to log in every time if Remember me is checked.

I tried 3 different times to post a reply to a thread (F-150 vs Toyota Tundra) and each time it said I wasn't logged in even though I was logged in?

Did you click the box for “remember me” before you clicked the “log in”
That will keep you signed in until you manually sign out....otherwise it will time out while you are on or composing a post, and you’ll be unaware until you finish writing and then you lose what you composed.
