Change Password?

I thought I had written down the password for the site but for the love of me cannot find it. How do I change my password so I can get back on to the site?

Thank you,

Ron

OK, somebody has to ask...

How did you post the question, under your own profile, if you can't log in? :-)

There is, I believe, a "forgot my password" option, if you try to access the site un-logged

If you click on the "remember me" icon when you log in, you will not ever be logged out.

One possible explanation is that the OP was logged out of the browser session on their computer but also uses a mobile app like Tapatalk that is still logged in.

As WeRJuliian pointed out there is a link to take if you've forgotten your password but you don't see that until after you make an unsuccessful login attempt. The link is embedded in the notification message you get from the unsuccessful login attempt.

Some options:

You can reset your password via your user cp here: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/p...o=editpassword

You can click the contact link at the bottom of the page and ask for some help via the tech support desk (takes a day or so for a response). There is no login needed to use the contact link.

It certainly is a legit question, and here’s the answer:

Go to the top of your JOF webpage and you’ll see a thin gold bar going across the page with a number of options to choose from. Click on the leftmost option, User CP (User Control Panel)

On the left side of the User CP webpage, under the gold Your Profile bar, click on Edit Your Details.

On the Edit Your Profile webpage, inside the Edit Email & Password block, click on the blue Edit Email & Password button. This will take you to the webpage where you can change your password.
